Hayne Bayless

Hayne Bayless is a studio potter in Ivoryton, CT. In college he managed to avoid academic art entirely, except for Art History 101, which he slept through. In 1993 he quit a perfectly good job as a newspaper editor to make pots. He has exhibited at the Smithsonian Craft Show and the Minnesota Potters Tour. Hayne has taught handbuilding workshops at Arrowmont, Penland, Snow Farm, Shakerag, Santa Fe Clay, and The Clay Studio, Philadelphia.
